On behalf of everyone associated with the organisation of this tremendous initiative, it is our greatest pleasure to introduce you the HR Excellence Awards 2011.
Launched in 2010 and with a success well beyond the most optimistic expectations, the HR Excellence Awards unite the Belgian world of Human Resources to recognise and celebrate the in-class HR suppliers whose performance excels in terms of innovation, realisations, quality of service and value delivered to HR departments.
The 2011 program will address the theme 'Talent Management : Addressing the New Challenges'. As the whole HR sector focuses on the growing importance of acquiring and managing talents, we found it particularly relevant to analyse and evaluate how suppliers effectively support HR departments in their talent management programs, how they adapt their products and services accordingly, and how they manage and develop their own talents to better serve their clients.
The HR Excellence Awards 2011 provide Belgium's HR suppliers with a unique opportunity to benchmark and validate their talent management services and value proposition against the best. The Awards will showcase the most innovative solutions as well as their real-value contribution towards an HR department's talent management goals.
The HR Excellence Awards 2011 are open to all HR providers, whether they are service providers, consultants, product developers or another organisation providing HR services. Big or small, local or international, start-up or well established, the single condition for a supplier to enter the Awards and to be nominated is to deliver services from an office located in Belgium.
The set-up of the HR Excellence Awards is the result of a close a collaboration of many people who share the idea of rewarding the best endeavours and contributions to the success of HR departments. We would like to especially thank the members of the judging panel for their outstanding availability and objectivity, our partners, our sponsors, the attendees of the award ceremony, and of course all those who will vote, for their highly appreciated contribution to what is already and largely considered as the key event on Belgium's HR calendar.
