- Being an inspiring model of vision, listening capabilities and leadership for the HR team
- Evidence of working ‘in tandem’ with the CEO for all people-related issues
- Behaving as an HR ambassador towards the HRM community and beyond
Briefly said: the CHRO of the Year 2024 will be the one demonstrating she/he goes the extra mile by taking on the human side of the organization in a proactive mode and by addressing the pivotal events that are critical to both the business and people.
This award category addresses accomplished, game-changing HR leaders standing in a decision-making position below the CHRO and showing clear ability, engagement, and aspiration to rise to and succeed in a top senior role in term.

This award recognizes younger, high-potential HR managers who demonstrate significant game-changing aptitudes and skills for a promising career as future HR leaders.
The HRM Ones to Watch nominees will be asked to demonstrate:
- Evidence of significant contribution to the definition and implementation of the HR strategy
- Evidence of bringing new blood and fresh ideas to the HR team
- Having the right skills and mindset in transformative moments
- Having a clear vision of the future of work, future of HR, and own future
- Evidence of collaboratively working with HR colleagues and non-HR teams as well
- Is recognized as a highly potential future HR leader by the CHRO
